army test scores

Right so before I put my application, I want to spend a couple of weeks practicing the test and trying to get the best score I can on the day. The thing that is confusing me is how are the test score put together, and how do they compare to the job you want. I would like to join the royal signals either as a telecoms tech or as It tech. Would sort of scores should I be aiming for on the tests? Also slightly off topic but do you have to put down three choices for what you want to do or is two okay?
