On the army website it says you have to go to Sandhurst if you want to be a Pilot officer. It also says you have to have 180 UCAS Points. Down the page It says 80% of all Sandhurst graduates are also University graduates. If you want to be a helicopter pilot officer and you graduate sandhurst do you get direct entry into the pilots course and the AAC or do you have to do ground crew work. Cheers

If you want to be an officer then you will need to go to Sandhurst, when you are an officer and are accepted for helicopter training then you have to pass the tests on the helicopters and this is no small feat and many fail to qualify for them
