Finally sent off my application yesterday, Ive got my " Green Bible ",anyone with any fitness questions just go to you're AFCO and get the application pack, This little Green Book, is spot on!!
Does anybody know how long it will take to get my written test date??

Depends how busy and how efficient the AFCO is, I handed my application in early December and have my physcometric test in early February.

i see you're from stoke, my AFCO is Hanley aswell! I hope it don't take as long as you're one did!!!

Give them a ring after a week or two and ask for an approximate date, I did and it turned out to be the exact date I have it.
I wouldn't worry about it, I did mention that I wasn't in a rush as I was in college at the time so that may have affected the wait time as people who want to get through the stages in a rush may have been put before me.
