Pavel.Tsatsouline - Naked Warrior. (Tsatsouline is ex Spetznaz PTI)

I have the ebook, he had written about how to build up body strength, it's very interesting, if you get past the first 1/4 - 1/2 then its good, it teaches you how to do pistols, and one armed press ups amongst some other fascinating things e.g. power breathing..

Some of his theroies go against that of here, and i would like to hear your views on whether or not its any good., PM me your email and i will send it to you, it's a 3mb Adobe file.

It really helped me learn how to do one handed press ups (i'm slowly getting there :) and a pistol (one legged down-squat).

the first part is a bit of PR for him really advertising hs otherbooks. For the real secrets look at the second half and combine it into your training routine -i found the breathing a great help and stirs you into action.

Pistol - one legged squat?

No mate, they're called 'sissy squats' when you do them with one leg, especially when you've got weight on your shoulders

Great for the arse as if you do them hard enough and correctly, it will hurt to sit on the toilet the next day, or anything for that matter! :P

'Sissy Squats' mate - its the way forward  Must have been the mentality from 'the gym' so they named it that.

EDIT: I didnt mean that in a fairy type way either!

But the guy was actually talking about pistols, not sissy squats, so I don't understand your point mate..

AJtothemax  what are you on about... they are two different things indeed.

sissy squat ^ guy above posted link.

one legged squat; bassicaly a bodyweight squat with one leg straigh locked out in front.

so what you meant was,... One legged squats (Pistols) the way forward. 8)

For anyone who wants it:

nakedwarrior.pdf

It's very interesting, if a bit controversial. Some of the techniques he explains very well but doesn't explain how to implement them into your workout...he explains Power Breathing well but doesn't if you're meant to breathe like that when doing phys, or (as was recommended on another site) treat it as an excersize in itself.

Anyway, it's a good read nonetheless.

I 'meant' exactly what i put  Just another little misunderstanding, too much of a story to explain.

Its done with an olympic weight bar on your sholders (as all 'traditional' squats should be) and how ever much you can manage, ideally on a smith machine as it allows for control and better safety.

Anyway... Keep up the good work fellas. :D

:o Weighted pistol squats. My respect goes out to those who can pull a number of those off.
