Which lines from songs do you find inspirational, motivating etc?

I can think of dozens, but here is a small selection. Oddly enough none are by the 'punk prat':

a. You did not desert me, my brothers in arms - Dire Straights.

b. Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering; - Cecil Spring-Rice.

c. Bring on the dancin' girls and put the Champagne on ice - AC/DC.

d. No flag or uniform ever stopped the bullet from a gun - Gary Moore and Phil Lynott

As I have nothing better to do,
here goes.

Sunday Morning-The Velvet Underground.
Philidelphia-Bruce Springsteen.
Eight Miles High-The Byrds.
The Sky is Crying-Stevie-Ray Vaughan.
Driving Home for Christmas-Chris Rea
Sailing-Christopher Cross
The Ying-Tong Song-Michael Bentine and Spike Milligan. :P

Great choices Wholley, but I was wondering about specific lines as opposed to song titles.

I may be vey vey drunk, but...

"If you feel like letting go, hold on, hold on, cos everybody hurts, some time"
You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.
