Ah three months at sea and at assault stations at 0300 when a sallow youth from the engineroom crawled from a hatch, eliciting a growl of approval from the older hands with Singapore still coursing through their veins! :o Eeeeek!

Well it certainly wasn't this call sign, not with a top C any way! You suprise me Prez; knowing the harmonic series of the bugle! Next you'll be telling me about the position of the Drtum Majors Staff relating to music or drill depentant upon its position. You must have quite a collection of beat retreat videos. I have never found the rivett, the Matelot who bent down... well so I was told.
Drums beating, colours flying and bayonets fixed...

:wink:Whilst serving on board the ' Victory',and no I was'nt at Trafalgar.
And with us Royals being so Ingenious we decided to Paint one of the Deck planking Rivets A Golden colour,thus the Golden Rivet was situated way below in the depths of the ship,sure enough during one of the Guides around the ship someone would ask to see the golden Rivet?.Ah 'A life on the Ocean Wave'?. Aye JR :oops: :oops:
