worried about interview

Post by Greenlid »

First Post :)

Basically I was wondering how seriously your background is taken because a few years ago I went through a really rebellious phase and got myself expelled
from two schools once for fighting and the other time for stealing ( ashamed I know but I don't do it any more ) also towards my exams I put on weight
so dropped out of rugby teams. Do you think these will Mayabe cause them to turn me away?

Thanks guys and as I said I'm a different person now :)

Hi welcome to the forum :D

If you're joining RM then integrity is an ethic you will need to live by. It's one of the four Commando Qualities.

You will get respect from the AFCO officer if you tell him about this, rather than him find out.
You don't need to go into detail, just what you've said there. If he wants to know more he will ask.

My dad would probably have said that those traits would make you ideal for the corps!

However joking aside, we all have done things in the past that make us who we are, and this doesn't sound too bad.
So best of luck 8)
