Quote from a letter in a magazine I read today.
"40 years ago I was stood at a bus stop with my friends. The rain was coming down very heavy. At the bus stop were 2 old gentlemen, stood ram rod straight with the rain falling upon their heads as they stared into the distance. After a time one of the gentlemen said to the other "This weather reminds me of Passchendaele" to which the other replied "That it does Alf..that it does" and then there was silence as the 2 gentlemen continued to stare into the distance.
