June 6th is the 65th anniversary of the Normandy landings.
I will be attending a service at the American War Graves at Collville-sur-Mer on Saturday to remember and give thanks to those who lost their lives so that my generation could be free.
We owe them a debt we can never repay except with remembrance and respect.
