Thanks for the replies.

Seems I'm getting a mixed response, so I'll just ask when I'm down on my PRMC. I don't mind my body taking a bit of a hit physique wise while I'm doing training as long as I can work on it again when I finish in my own time.

Thanks again.

Yeah I know what you mean. I train Kickboxing twice a week for about three hours each, then I box and do Judo once a week. I only started Judo recently but I'm at an ok amateur level in Kickboxing, I would like to go pro some time in the future. You're right I do the powerlifting to compliment my ki...

Fighting and supplements

Alright, I'm going to try and join the RM towards the end of this year. I've got two questions really. First, I love to kickbox, do judo and am really interessted in getting into MMA. I also like powerlifting. Will I be able to keep training or will there be opportunities to keep doing these things ...

Ok nevermind then, I just wanted as awnser to a simple question if most of you want to break my balls over it, then forget it ill try getting the info somewhere else. I wasn't purely basing my choice on how soon I can leave, but it's a factor in me choosing. Thanks to the few of you that did try and...

If you want operational experience but don't want to hold a career in the army have you thought about the TA? Yeah, that's good advice and I'm already in the TA. Good bunch of guys but from talking to the ones that have been on tour (quite a few have been to Iraq from my company) it sounds like the...

Concerning length of service

Right I've decided I want to join the armed forces at the end of this year of college. I was going to go to uni first but as it looks like things might be winding down a bit in the middle east I want to join now. I either want to go Royal Marine or Parachute regiment. Right now I'm leaning towards R...

I don't see why you would need supplements, normal foods should be more than enough. If you really feel the need to take anything, maybe whey protein, fish oil, protein shakes after workouts and vitamin pills? I don't know alot about supplements because I can't afford them.

Books...

So I'm planning on applying for 4 para next year and I was wondering if anyone knows any good books on how to train for P coy and the TA CIC. I mainly would like to know because I need to start hinting to relatives what I would like for Christmas or I'm going to end up with crap and also because any...

Tattoos

Just a quick question I'm thinking about getting two tattoos, one on each fore arm. It will just be one word on each and nothing obscene. I'll probably get it on inside of the forearm so it won't be very visible either would this affect me joining the regs later on in life? As I know tons of people ...

I never have nose bleeds I only have to look at a pair of gloves and my nose just starts to pour. I've never been knocked out fighting my self, though I have blacked out when training on a few occasions . Once when cross country running on my own though a wood... I stupidly decided I’d beast my sel...
