i have been doing some 5 mile runs and though course hilly, with a fat hill at start and at end i been getting 40 mins, though i trying to get to 35mins.

wondering what the sort of running you do at start of training distance wise and what sort of times they expect, 3 miler in 21 mins?

cheers for information,

during your runs do the PTs time it all or can you wear a watch ?

just wondering sinse some times you run better when you time each section of a run.

Also are the runs mostly carried out on the PRMC route, or do they like to throw in some hills for good messure?:)

i just did a 5 miler ish run this week, the route was quite hilly, at start i have a fat arse hill at start which i then do again at end, sort of a loop which times twice in run. i found 2-3 miles probally due to cold i was just using mouth and tried to keep air flow nice and steady which seemed to ...

To be honest, the PRMC 99% running, press-ups ect are great if you can do, but it seems they looking mainly for runners.

I got shin splints which messed up my PRMC. I find now that warm-up and warm down (the latter more important I think) and making sure they done well. Warm-up is used too loosely I think, and you find this down at CTCRM, where you get properly warmed up :lol: Try and warm up properly get blood though...

guys tips: the 3 miler has a right beasting before you do it so train for this: example: sprints, then 15 sec bust sprints static. then first half isnt realy done as 12:30 mins it more like 10:00-10:30 for you stop mid way then prepare to do last leg. basicaly aim for 9 mins 1.5 mile both ways, it 1...
