Im slightly confused over whether Para Pay is just for Paras, or whether anyone gets it if they have earned their wings?
Perhaps someone could shed some light onto this matter, and if anyone knows how much it is.
Cheers

Any member of HM forces who has passed the para course at brize norton and is in a para billeted position gets para pay. I don't know how much it is now, but when i got mine it was £2.93 a day (2000).
I also heard that as there are only 2 para battalions in para role at any time the other one doesn't get their para pay - don't know if this has all changed now thought due to the role revisions.

You need to get so many jumps in a year to get that extra pay, mind you that was a few years back.

1 jump a year using a military parachute, and you need to be in a post that requires a para qualification

This tread is about ten years old and things could have changed since then
