I'm sure most everyone has already seen this site, but in case they haven't:
Britain's Small Wars - The History of Military Conflicts Since 1945. It contains many first hand accounts of the numerous conflicts Great Britain has fought since the second World War. Lots of good information here.

Interesting site... I'll have a look back later when I have some time.
Tab, Owdun has the claim to fame! He supplied the pictures of Nelson and Bodecia in training. He was their troop Cpl for quite some time. There are some pictures in the caves near Stonehenge showing Owdun on duty as the Main Gate Sentry at Stonehenge.

I have followed that site for several years now and contributed to their message centre to correct some inaccuracies. I was surprised this morning when I opened up the Aden thread to find a photograph of, what appears to be me. I have found that some peoples memories of certain incidents seem to have been distorted with time.
Aye - Andy.

Hello JR,
There is a picture used on the pages concerning Borneo of an Indonesian soldier. I have seen this picture before where it was described as showing the Indonesian NCO responsible for torturing to death of SAS Trooper Terry Condon. Alledgedly the picture was taken by Dyaks tasked by SAS men, with his execution in reprisal for his killing of Trooper Condon.
I have found it impossible to positively verify his identification or the story of Trooper Condon, even though several sources concur with the above details. I was wondering if you knew anything of this story when you first sourced the image?
With deep regards!
Pasha
