infantry regiments doing P company

Hi guy, I was reading that " Born fearless " book by Phil Campion and in it he tells how he did p company while he was in the pwrr. Now I've not got a lot of knowledge on this so please don't criticize me but can any infantry regiment do P company and not transfer to the paras.

I moved from a County Regiment into the Para's via P Company. P Company is run and supervised by the Para's so if he passed he should go on then for his Parachute Training. The Para's have enough of there own people to train before worrying about some one that is going straight back to their parent Regiment. There is no way that he could have done a P Course back in his own Barracks as it would not be approved by the Parachute Regiment
