Just got back from the hoe in plymouth for the welcoming home of 3 commando from afghanistan. Was a great experience for myself and im sure everyone else who attended. Im currently qpplying for the paras however seeing the lads of 3 commando who have just come out of a warzone with some of their oppos killed or maimed and now in wheelchairs was something that really hit home hard. Sounds very cliche but made me very proud watchimg the parade today and potentially to be serving alongside those that i saw today.
R.I.P those that never made it home.
