Can you Join the SAS as a Commissioned Officer Rather Than a normal Soldier?
If so can you stay in the regiment all of your career and also what do SAS Officers do?

(I understand about Selection so I just need a strait answer to the question)

Hi

You sure can however during selection there is an Officer phase which you must pass, if you fail then you have a choice to continue as a trooper or Return to Unit [RTU] ...And it's intense. Hope that answers your questions.
