Hi, guys . My name is owen. I am an international student in University of Salford in Manchester.



Is there any armed forces recruit foreignrs?

Yes, but apart from the French Foreign Legion, most will not look at an application from you before you have acheived permanent residence status.

Is there any particular country you were thinking about?

I think he's wondering if the British services recruit foreigners, seeing as he's an international student in Britain.

Don't know the answer, though I'm fairly sure there is a routine for Commonwealth citizens wanting to enter.

I am thinking about UK, France, Israel, South Africa, Spain or Russia.

If you are not Jewish, Israel is out.

UK, perhaps, if you are a commonwealth citizen it will be easier for you though.

France....La Legion!

Spain used to accept Spanish speakers (mostly South Americans) to their Legion, but I'm not sure if they still do.

South Africa, perhaps, but I think you will need permanent resident status to join.

Russia......are you insane?

Actually, i am in a conversion course for Reform Judaism. Can a convert join IDF?

I am not a commonwealth citizen.

How to join french foreign legion?

Is there any unit in south africa army accepte foreigner? (I heard they have a unit accepte foreigner. 32 battalion?)
