i want to join the navy as its about time i did something with my life but theres just one thing thats holding me back as i not the best of swimmers to grace this earth i was wondering how i could go about it

Get down to your local pool and get some lessons!
That said, the Navy swim test is easier than the RAF one - if you end up in the wet stuff there's usually a ship very close by, whereas for us we've probably hit it from a height...
You can have peace.
