Afternoon ladies and gents..
I was in training with RROS back in january 2011 and doar'd myself and now regret it.. i have now served the 12 months before i can apply. i have reapplied and my 203 form has been posted and received in Glasgow on 22/07/12. i have however changed job choice to RLC driver instead of rejoining infantry.
basically have a few questions..
1) i understand i have to do ADSC again and pass but after a quick search i seen someone said they didnt have to do a medical so my question is do i have to resit a medical?
2) How long roughly have people waited for a 203? i've been told it can take up to a year but seen people have received word back within 2 months others waiting much longer anyone give rough time they waited?
3) At selection has the process for ice breaker changed? or is it still talk about you, your family, why and what joining and where you go and memorable moment or is it something different? and do i have to still know 2 job choices as been told because i am a re-joiner do i only get one job choice?

1. You do have to pass a medical again, I've done a medical twice in 2 weeks (passed everything, called back into head nurses office have to see a heart specialist, seen specialist, came back to ADSC done a full medical again)
2. Sorry can't help you with this
3. Yes it has, I've posted the new Ice Breaker to someone before so rather than explaining it again I'll copy and paste it into this post when I find it:

BARB Test is a test you will more than likely do first, it's a test you take on a touch screen computer and you are asked a series of fast questions and you must answer as many correctly and quickly as possible.
The Basic Skills Testing is basic GCSE Math and English testing if you want a technical trade you must score rather high for most jobs, so best brush up on your Maths and English if your a little rusty.
Ice Breaker you will have to do at some point, this is were you will stand up infront of strangers and talk about yourself and reasons for joining the Army, the Icebreaker is made up of four sections below:
Personal Details - 30 seconds
Topic - 1 Minute 30 seconds
Reasons for joining the Army - 30 seconds
First Job choice - 30 seconds
(Expect to be asked to do your Ice Breaker more than once on different days, they like to spring it on you from time to time)
IDSC and ADSC
1.5Mile Run
5kg upto 40/45kg power bag lift
25Min PT Lesson

TST - Technical Trades Testing required for jobs in the Signals and other technical roles (more Maths)

IDSC is for 1 day and is a practice fitness day
ADSC is a 2 day fitness and mental testing, I've listed roughly what you should expect

They will not ask you to stop so you can take as long or as little as you like, but the times I have given are the exact times that the Staff will be looking for, so like I said do not talk fast as you will only finish early and won't be doing yourself any favors, most of the time you will have a bored in-front of you to help you to remember which stage you are at, it will read

The possible topics are:

Favorite hobby or sport

Re: Re-Joining and awaiting 203 form and wanting bit of info
I am currently wait for mine to get back from glasgow too,my recruiter sent it off about 3 or 4 weeks ago. He said to me that it can cake up to three months but has had one back in 2-3 weeks before. I have already started getting fit as he said he I will be doing the barb test up and everything else in a week as soon as the papers come back. So as soon as they do get back i can get in asap. Hope this helps bud.
