What kind of bag should i take?
dont take to much stuff. i took a small medium suitcase with just what they advised but i found half of it i didnt use. just take enough grots and socks and a change of clothes for after work to doss about in i.e a tracksuit or something. take another set of clothes for when/if you get to go out on the piss later on in training. you dont want too much personal kit as your locker space aint massive and it could look over cluttered. washbag, you want one normal sized one and one compact for the field. keep both immaculate i.e no grungy soap build ups in bottom or you will be pulled up , easiest thing to forget to do! coat hangers, take enough to hang all your clothes and make sure they are all either black or dark green makes you locker look tidy and uniform.

This is a rellay long thread about bags boys! lol
Depends on the type of room's you get, some have more space, some don't. I'm pretty sure that what ever you join you won't get to see your civilian clothes for a while so don't take too many.
You need to take a washing and shaving kit, i.e razor, shaving foam, shower gel that sort of thing, but my best tip is you have to show those sort of things in your locker, so buy a spare set of everything and you won't have to worry about it for inspections for the whole time your there!
You get given access to a laundry (doby) and you get a bag to take all your dirty stuff in, so don't wory about that!
Hangers is a good tip too, listen to gunner75! All the same, all facing the same way! lol

Enough room for KIT and clothes, and room to spare. hope it helps lads, i was told you're not allowed to take to many bags as safe storage space is limited. (might not be fact thou)

Can just imagine a bloke turning up for military training with a knock-off designer handbag...
You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.
