RAF medical

Post by tikajan »

i want to joint the royal air force as a PTI, but have athsma for a long time, since talking to an officer at the careers centre i was told to just stop using my inhaler which i have done, i barley used it anyway and am a long distance runner so know how to control my breathing.
It is a dream to do this job but i am just worried i will be turned away for having athsma but i dont ever use an inhaler and have not had an attack in something like 7 years ?
Thank you
Also i need to tell my mum my decision any suggestions?

Be honest about it, if you try and hide the condition they will bounce you fast for not telling them. Try to get a letter from your dictor saying that it no longer a problem
