Cpl Bri Budd
A good mate of mine, Bri Budd, was killed yesterday over here in Afghanistan. He was an ex Pathfinder who had recently been posted back to 3 Para after an instructional post at Harrogate.
Bri and myself deployed in the same team to Kosovo and Macedonia, and trained together on various exercises world wide. He was an accomplished medic, a very professional soldier, and a great bloke.
My sincere condolences go out to his wife. I just wish I had the opportunity to attend his funeral.

I can only echo P1`s sentiments Ronnie.
Really sorry mate.
Sincere condolences from all down here in both Airborne and RM familys to his family and friends.
Rest easy Brian,
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We Will Remember Them
We Will Remember Them
Here`s to him

Been watching the news, the name has been officially released.Hantslad wrote:Its terrible news and all that, but do you think it wise to release his name on the internet before it has been officially released by the MOD???
Rest in peace.
