Goodbye!

What proof have you got reference you claims to be able to help people with PTSD then? Anybody can come on here and spout the stuff your spouting. All you've done so far is pat you Oppo on the back and tell us all how good he is. WHOOPEE!

I've been there and I'll tell you straight the only people who helped me were qualified medical people. I was in RNH Haslar back in 1987. Made me see things a heck of a lot clearer. And yes I still get the Black Depression sometimes. But I can now cope with it because of my Oppos both here on this site and also with Oppos in the real world.

You have really got up my nose Sunbeam.

mike-d-1960 wrote: Its people like yourself that hinder the spoort that people should be getting. You should really congratulate yourself.

I offer support and assistance at a professional level, with no strings, this is the reaction i get.

Shame on you.

Hope you fell reel good about that.

So if thats the official recation of this forum, feel proud.

I withdraw, i shall work and help else where.

This reaction will be displayed and discussed in an meeting of Clincal Pyscologist in the UK this coming week, i am sure this will give them the impressions that forums like this do not work, and never will. great work guys. Feel really proud.
I normally don't post in this specific forum but here're two things for you:
Your spelling is crap and suspicious.
Your last paragraph, well fold it five ways and stick it where the sun doesn't shine: that was pure chickenshit.

Theres an old saying in the ROYAL MARINES:

HELP YOUR OPPO and by god we do help each other.

An Oppo who was one of my training team back in 1973 is going though a bad patch at the moment. He's E Mailed me and a ruck of other Bootnecks to say "Thanks lads for all the support". We ain't trained but by heck we know how to look after our own.

So why not naff of back to you self congratulating US Forum and just keep patting yourselves on the backs on how good and nice you all are!!

I'm damn sure a qualified member of the medical profession would not come onto a web site and start telling every one how good he and his Chums are at helping people suffering from PTSD.

mike-d-1960, STFU................sorry I had to say it, can't keep my mouth shut!

To be honest, I know feck all about PTSD but I am all ears for hearing some one out.

Denial is easy to come by so don't be hard on yourself. Help can be around the corner at the best of times, but only when your ready for it.

I know I have been through some rough times and thought people wanted nowt to do with me, realised that it is because 'you can't be helped until you want to be helped'.

I have found MilForums to be good with listening when I have ranted and still stand by that.

Listening to the likes of mike-d-1960, will do no good, ignore him, seems to me others have done to.

So what has this got to do with PTSD? Nothing, just wanted to air that you have my support if you need a shoulder, drop me a pm

And I thought they were fantastic.
Mary Shelleys Frankenstein and Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes.

What books have you read recently?
