Just found out today, the name ofthe Marine that was killed yesterday (Richard Watson). It was the guy that shared my bunk and bivvy when I was in training, absolutley gutted.
Top lad that joined in jan 2004 and put his notice in straight away and left within 4 weeks, seems he climbed back on the course and cracked it the second time a year or so later,

Hope his family is bearing up well, can't say I remember them when they turned up for the family weekend, but remember him talking non stop about his girlfriend.
A couple of funny memories of him, must say though, out of all the ones that left training early, didn't think he'd be back. But well done to him for seeing it through, his family must be proud.
