Served in Afghanistan? BBC Documentary - MOD Approved.

BBC Documentaries

Have you ever served in Afghanistan?
Did you film your experiences there?

Whether you’re serving or retired, your footage could be part of a unique series…

The BBC is making a series of programmes about the conflict in Afghanistan from 2001 to the present day – from the servicemen’s point of view. Whether you’re in the Army, Navy or RAF, we want to document your story of the war and show people the reality of your job.

Footage taken by you on deployment between 2001 and the present day will be key to the success of the series.
It can be anything from battle footage to the quieter moments in camp. You never know what might be useful.

This project has the support of the MOD’s Directorate of Media and Communications. However, normal MOD rules for ‘Contact with the Media’ apply. Service personnel and MOD civilians should therefore seek permission from their chain of command. For soldiers, the start point is your Unit Press Officer.

If you want to find out more about the project and how you can be involved, please email or call the team using the details below…
