Is there an age limit for special forces selection?

SF are chosen from people in HMForces and you would have been in a few years before you can apply. There is always the TA units that you can apply to and I suggest you get the information from them.

That's what I meant. I wish to join the British army but won't be eligible until I'm 31. I wish to join the infantry first, I was wondering if there is an age limit for people already in the armed forces.

I think you will find it is some where in the early 30's but I can't remember the actual date

"SAS(R) accept male volunteers who have no previous military service aged 18 to 32 years and 364 days or male volunteers who have had previous military service with any part of the Regular or Reserve Armed Forces (RN, RM, Army, and RAF) up to the age of 34 years and 364 days. Volunteers must be able to commit to considerable training demands and willing to deploy overseas."
