Can someone help me identify this heli?

Post by Gabicho »

Greetings everyone.
I need some help on identifying this Heli. I had not seen this model before, and saw those pics lately, so it made me curious... I tried searching on the net but it was rather infructuous, and i get annoyed when i can't identify one. :(

These are the photos:

What's infructuous mean?
You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.

Kinnel Lobster  , for someone who goes all girly over the old Sov kit (ZSU,BMP, BTR, T74 etc) your heli recognition is shite mate, best you fruct uouself off :P
Having said that, er, I can`t remember the NATO designation for this airframe.
Anyhoo, it`s a Kamov anti sub helicopter, two big clues are the angle of that fark-off big radome hanging off the nose and the smaller dunking active sonar on the starboard side.
If the Parry monster was still around he`d say for sure, but I seem to remember it`s either a Hive or a Hormone. :-?
Mind you Lozzer, you’ve had enough trouble with yer hormones so it`s probably a Hive 8)

My God Watson, I do believe you`re onto something :o
I did think it had the look of a messerschmitt but then senile dementia took over.
Most Kamovs have contra rotating rotars so it serves me right for gobbing off 8)
Best I go and fruct meself off then
