Red Bull

Alternatively choose an SQ where jumps is either an option or a necessity.

Try and make more of an effort with your posts Tom, this is barely legible.

P-Company is for Army personnel who are assigned to an airborne unit.

RM Commandos do not have to pass it (unless attached to an Army unit, and they want to do it).

Any Bootneck can apply to do the Para course.

But, the ones who get first dibs are ML's, SBS and members of a unit's Recce troop.

If there is a place available then as I've said anyone can do the course.

P Company is for the Army. Bootnecks because they have done the Commando Course are deemed to be ready and willing to attend the course without the need for P Coy due to the Commando tests all Bootnecks have to pass in order to earn their Green Lid and Flashes.

Ok,

So if you get a chance to attempt the Para course and complete it successfully, do you also get a red berret and obviously you are able to wear your wings I presume.

No, you'll only get a red beret to wear if you are attched to a Para unit (i.e. possible, but pretty unlikely).

Yes,

I was asking if you get a red berret on completion of the course and also your wings? So all the commandos with wings secretly want to be a Para ?

I dont think so, I would of thought they just want to be able to jump. As I do when I complete my RT.

I didnt say I wanted a red berret or to be a para did I ?

I Dont Think Anyone is accusing you of wanting to be a Para more than a Marine, I think people are just saying it because you asked about getting a Red Beret, thats all.
