New Web Site

Looks like the Royal Marines have had an overhaul of their web site.

http://www.royalmarines.mod.uk/

Have a look at the video at the top of the page; 'IT'S A STATE OF MIND'.

Good catch, looks very good, its been obvious they'ld do it at some point; long overdue in my opinion though, hopefully easier to use than the old section the marines were given.

Finally they've got something up to answer the common questions about current RM deployments and other similar questions, navigate to individual units for more in depth information.

Quite a lot clearly isn't up to date or up and running yet but when they get it fully up its clearly going to be a lot more useful than the old site.

It's a nice site and they've obviously put some work into it (I like the little bloke demonstrating each weapon), it's just unfortunate that the Army ones aren't upto the same level.

Good videos showing each week.. there's 2 lads that I know off it.
I was on the same PRMC as the ginger scottish lad that transfered from the navy.
That troop hasn't passed out yet has it?

I'm highly impressed, it looks very good indeed.

Interesting, I wonder when it will be ready?

If that's what he means then it doesn't make sense, the RM's have had their own site for years. Remember, this is just an overhaul and not a completely new site.

Incidentally, the Para's website is shite and I'm trying to remedy that.
