Hi everyone,

Glad to see that at least people haven't received bad news as of yet, and fingers crossed for everyone waiting to hear from Cranditz!!!

Out of curiosity what were your scores and overall scores. I've read through some other posts to see others though I'm just trying to get a rough average for curiosity sakes. Having looked through it's seems as though most have received scores of 17 to 21 with overall grades of 2 or 3.

I'd be really keen to hear what sort of scores people have been getting!!

Cheers guys and good luck!!!!

I'm guessing the grading is different for NCA as everyone I know gets a number totalling their individual scores and then an overall board grading.

Congrats on getting through Rizzarazzu!!

I got 15 and a 3(-). Also out of curiosity, roughly what are people's aptitude scores averaging at? Mine are all between 116 and 131. (Not counting pilot as I failed that one).

Also at the top of the Aptitudes it gives me a weird looking score/number for something called CRB - anyone know what that is?

How does the scoring system work? individually and on an overall basis, being still a Cranwell virgin I haven't come across them yet other than you guys talking about it.

After days 1 & 2 (Aptitudes, medical and fitness tests) you are scored on the following (i'll include my scores) but i do not know what the scores are out of, possibly 10.

Appearance / Bearing - 7
Manner - 7
POE - 5 (I don't know what POE is)
Academic Potential - 4
Activities / Interests - 6
Phys. Level / Potential - 7
Motivation - 7
Awareness - 7
Overall Impact - 6

From this you are given a total score, mine was 55, and it determines whether you go on to Phase 2 or not.

After phase 2, you are scored in the following categories in all of the tests -

Confidence & Resilience
Oral Communication
Influence
Problem Solving
Teamwork
Interview Performance.

I think it's scored out of 5 for each category as i scored mostly 3's and 2's which i think accurately reflects my rather mediocre performances !

All of the scores from all of the tests are then added together to make a "Total By Competency" for each category - these totals are then graded between 1 and 5 and added together to make your Final Assessment score. In my case it was 14 and that has been graded as B- and marked as "ACCEPTABLE".

My highest was 176 for ATC, not sure how that compares with some.

POE = Power Of Expression

One of the categories the AFCO would no doubt have graded most people on before sending their file upto Cranwell.

TJD,

Sorry I've had a good scan through your posts and have only found a post where you corrected Biggles that the scores were out of four instead of 6.

Could you expand on the total scores and the overall board scores at all??

Many thanks for your help
