the length of time you spend in the application process varies from person to person. its not the same for everyone! some AFCOs can zip you through the tests, others are slower. some guys fail certain tests and have to wait for another attempt, which can be from a couple of weeks to a few months and...

beeswax is great for softening leather and is probably the main reason why my boots fit so well!
all i do is get an old cloth, take a bit of the wax, rub into the leather then leave over night. nice.
not to sure what you mean about yours being in the shape of a bar?

correct running shoes for RT

evening fellas, possibly abit of a bone question here but... for RT is it essential to take proper running shoes? i took a worn out old pair of squash/tennis shoes down to PRMC with me but was made an example of because they were not correct running footwear. the reason i ask this is because money i...

Re: press-ups?

First of all congrats on passing ur PRMC mate bet ur really chuffed! Just wanted to know are the instructors on the PRMC really picky about press-ups and sit-ups? I know of a couple of people who have never "trained" or gone to a gym before in their life, just had kick abouts in the park and have gone onto to pass PRMC and complete RM training. As it says somewhere on the RM site and on the army site, you don't need to be super fit just have a reas...

hi kanedaRMC, your upperbody scores look fine, but you do need to work on your cardio if youre doing 3 miles in just 24 mins. dont just train to do 3 miles - do 2, 3 and 6 milers+, sprint sessions, the bleep test and swim regularly and by september you should be fit enough for sure. all the best mat...
