So if you have to do 'qualifying jumps' there must be a lot of military personnel who end up losing them. Probably the relevant regiments/services turn a blind eye to it. Or is the 'qualifying jumps' just for jump pay. Also would all the above then apply to SAS wings. There must be a lot of Generals...

In reply to Tab When I was in the RNR in the early nineties an officer and an able seaman on board my ship both had their para wings. I believe they obtained them, by once being members of 10 and 15 Para TA. Incidently para wings are worn on the bottom of the left sleeve of the number one tunics. Fo...

Adquals?
Hi all,
When I was in the RNR back in the early nineties I seem to recall seeing a poster on the NE classroom showing badges of the RN.
On it were badges that I believe were worn on the right sleeve called Adquals.
Do they still exist? and what are they for? and who can do them?
Thanks

Crossed Rifles
Hi all,
Just a general question.
Years ago I seem to remember seeing crossed rifles on the left arms of uniforms.
I understand that they were for marksman.
Are they still in use?
If so, are they across all services?
Just a general question.

RN Para Wings
Hi,
Can someone from the Royal Navy get their Para wings?
I know that they can go 'commando', but can they go para.
If so, do they have to do P Coy?

Mustering as Requested
Hi all, My name is Colin Bannister. I am 42 years old. I was in the Royal Navy Reserve from September 1991 to February 1994 at HMS Wessex, whereby I was made 'Redundant' under the 'Options for Change' defence review, whereby they amalgamated three divisions into one, but with the manpower of one. I ...
