Glad its not just me then. Like I said, the doubts are not enough to put me off, christ the AFCO staff could have done that if I wasnt detemined enough (well some of them at least).

Guys and Gals, Past and Present Military. . . . Thanks for the info and putting my mind at ease. . . . (Not) Have asked at gym but it is council run and if the staff there have passed there 25metre swimming certificate I would be very surprised so they were not much help unfortunately.

New Recruit

Am due to begin RAF recruit training on 24th Sept. Can anyone provide me with some advise on what to expect on the physical training side of it as that is the part that I am most worried about.
