Re: What type of shell is this? And is it dangerous?

I agree, contact the Police. Unexploded ordnance still poses a risk of detonation. If there are any visible features showing, such as markings, colour or shape, please describe them when reporting the item as this may help with identification.

Do not put others at risk by ignoring this.

Re: Need help and advice for BARB text please

Hi,

You can do practise BARB tests over on the Army careers page. See http://www.army.mod.uk/join/Getting-yourself-ready.aspx

Re: RAF Formal Interview Date Flexibility?

Typical f*cking RAF, inability to be on time  Hopefully we can safely assume that your reason for wanting to reschedule is due to an unavoidable and genuine issue. Give them as much notice as possible that you aren't going to be able to attend on the date specified. Being considerate of the int...

Re: Joining as an officer, but need one more GCSE..

Hi and welcome to the forum, You conclude your post with a question that nobody else except for you can really answer. I'm also wondering whether I should just stick with what I got and head into regular soldier training. Officer and soldier careers are equally interesting but undoubtedly different....

Re: sas soldier

This is exactly the sort of inane thread that makes this section look ridiculous. Gary, you have posted this same question before and therefore it is clear that you are actively trolling. Continue to post repetitive & childish drivel and you are out of here. Simple as that. See your PMs ASAP. Th...

Re: A WARNING TO ALL WALTERS.- MF is not your playground

To actually meet someone that was using the hideous injuries one of my multiple sustained during an Op to big himself up proved to me just how low these creatures can stoop. However. What I do not want to see, is anyone initiating a witch hunt on here. Prior to plastering someones face and personal d...

Re: Officer Entry

Hi Becky, I ran this past a serving officer currently serving in an AFCO. Based on the information provided, you would not meet the Education Criteria as you have suggested that you do not possess the required number of UCAS points. You will have to wait until completion of your Level 3 ICM or on co...

Re: Officer Entry

Hi Becky, Welcome to the forums. I'll do some digging and get back to you. As far as I know the Minimum qualifications are 35 ALIS points (34 for SNQs) from 7 GCSE/SNQ subjects, with a minimum grade C/2 in English Language, Maths and either a science or a foreign language; plus 180 UCAS Tariff point...

A WARNING TO ALL WALTERS.- MF is not your playground

I like to think of myself as a fairly laid back, easy going and reasonable person. However this weekend I’ve had my cage well and truly rattled. As some of you know already. I deployed on Herrick and spent my entire tour in a CP. We patrolled daily and had plenty of scraps, particularly in November....
