Re: How long after application do recruitment team get in to

I'm not worrying about it but i don't want to waste my time not preparing. The way i see it the more i prepare the better it'll go and the better the chances of me getting in so i might as well prepare all the time haha.

Re: Strengthening shoulders.

Haha, wish i would have known to not have too much weight on my first ruck walk the other day. I threw my brother into my bag who weighs 50 kilos and went for a walk, totally wrecked myself. I'll go up from 20 pounds i guess, thanks for the advise.

Re: How long after application do recruitment team get in to

Ah, i'm not in much of a rush anyway. Though i want to get stuck in with selection and all that as soon as possible the longer it takes for me to get a response the longer i have to prepare mentally and physically for what is to come so it's a win win situation for me.

Ah thanks for the precision on the delay for a response. I've applied for the role of "Regular army soldier" with the Parachute regiment as my first choice.

Re: So keen to join the British Army!

You can apply from overseas from any common wealth country, you might want to go and look on the British army's website in the "can i join" section to see in further detail.

Did you get a response eventually? I don't know how flooded the recruiters were back when you posted this but i know that right now it takes about a month to get a response from the army, not sure about the RAF.

Strengthening shoulders.

Hi. So i've been preparing for selection for a while but i've only started seriously preparing a week or two ago, my running is fine and i can walk for as long as i need too but when i wear a backpack whilst walking i find it a lot harder to breathe, my shoulders feel crushed and it compresses my ch...

Re: Can somebody look at my programme please?! ;D

You should probably experiment with walking long distances with a bag on your back. I can walk for as long as i want without any weight on my back but when i throw a 50lb ruck on there (Those 50lbs come from my brother that i carry around in my rucksack on training days) it makes it a lot harder as ...
