Youll be lucky to get on the november 18th intake, i was lucky to do so and i passed my PRAC with a high grade on the 18th of september, good luck though mate and remember you must impress on the 1.5miler and steeplechase! steeplechase especially!

Did you do much running on the hills at Prac? On day 3 there's a 4 mile familiarisation run on the hills around Catterick. Don't underestimate it and think 'it's only 4 miles', honestly it is agony from start to finish. Basically vertical hills which you run up and down over and over again, this be...

congratulations mate, i have adsc coming up on the 24th-25th july and my careers advisor is on about getting me on PRAC in august providing i pass to get me on to the september intake, ive been out of training with injury for a few weeks ive just come back into it and still acheiving a 9mins 40 1.5m...

Thankyou very much for your input and taking the time to get your elder brother to do a once over, the 2mile power walks are from my house to the gym I use so I should just time myself and nock like 20 seconds off everytime I do so for example? I do my 1.5miles straight to the gym with a 0.5mile war...

I believe you should go into your recruiter and explain what happened etc, my recruiter is actually a very sound bloke and all they are trying to do is get you through the application process as quickly as possible. Not a fat lot with 44 mate, i also never recieved my sheets telling me what i could do however my recruiter said i would be looking at mainly infantry or RLC as i only scored 46... i never revised the BARB which i wished i did so... however i always wanted to be a Paratrooper anyway, just hope your ...

at what speed was the warm up 1.5mile set at? ive been told its meant to be quite fast but by fast do they mean a 9:30 for example? how many press ups and sit ups do you feel was classed as 'acceptable' or 'respectable' by the para PT's in the 2min time slot? any particular exercises or parts of you...
