Cranwell is a good college to get into! Alot of people my dad knows (who were in the RAF) went to Cranwell and are now chief engineers (with there specific field) for companies like BA, Monarch, Lufthanser and Virgin, aswell as other big plane companies so they do offer you top of the range training...

Whilst I think the idea is a good and valid one, I agree with Tab. The people who would hand over the knives would be your everyday normal person, whereas the people who would actually use the knives in an attack would not hand them over!

and i read that "fact" in the daily mail newspaper over here (its had sarcastic facts regardings australia from the rugby world cup!)

AB Thanks for that,what happens if your above the Artic Circle and its winter time and the sun is only above the horizon for an hour?. SH again watch where the sun rises...guaranteed to be east, watch where it sets, guaranteed to be west! but it generally doesnt cover arctic circle! just head east ...

the fact is that if they recruit in "poorer" areas they are giving people a better chance in life. Same was said about the American recruiters in michael moore's film about 9/11. They recruited in poorer areas and they gave the people from that area a chance to do something with their live...
