It is possible to get your wings without doing the all arms parachute course once you have passed out in the RMR,to get your wings you will have to do the jumps only...as mentioned earlier getting on the courses isn't the easiest...I have heard RMR Tyne are one of the best for getting on courses,not...

running with bergen?
Does anyone have any advice on running with a weighted bergen in prep for TA sas selection,I only ask this as I have heard in order to make the checkpoints on selection on time requires running with the weight.A couple of my mates in the RMR who are going for SBS selection have started to do bergen ...

Was just wondering if anyone has any info on 23 SAS recruitment process i.e. the format of the weekends,what is initially required to actually start the training for selection?how often they recruit?

As i am a member of the RMR most of the training is down to the individual so you have to be ready for the weekends and not rely on them to get up to the standard if you know what i mean..I agree with only using the weight for longer runs as the excess weight coupled with the high impact sustained d...

After running with the webbing I found I got more strength and stamina gains but as for doing anything with speed involved it wasnt really suitable,I am just wondering what the consensus is all round as I have heard many conflicting opinions from various sources.For PRMC I wouldn't reccommend it as ...

Running with or without weight?Any PTI advice welcome!...
During my training with the RMR I have been running with webbing for long distances,however after speaking to a PTI he reckons a couple of high intensity 3-4 milers a week and one long endurance run with webbing would be best and then another PTI recommends running with no weight.
