Hello mate.. Just wanted to say a big congrats on passing out.

I was in the junior troop watching in the Falklands hall.
Doesn't seem very long ago when you were on here fretting about PRMC.
Good effort Royal.

I saw a few people around CTC last week on top of walls and the such with a bit of a crowd gathered around. Some lads had a inkling that it was the parkour thing going on.

Forces Railcard

I know you get 4 rail warrants per year at CTC but I was wondering what the crack was with getting a forces rail card when in training?~

Is it at all possible because I can imagine using the train more than 4 times.

You can only use issue boots mate.
Dont go buying your own. Go to the AFCO and tell them, they should be able to sort you out a better pair.

Taking additional kit to RT

Hello.. I'm starting RT soon and obviously I've read all the sticky posts but I just have one concern about the additional kit lists posted. I know most training teams are different so theres no definite answer but I wondered if most lads that have recently started RT took additional stuff down with...

Well done on the PJFT, I met some pretty fit lads from the Wrexham AFCO and don't think many got that type of time. With regards to the Mountain Leader, worry about PRMC and RT before anything like that. Most of the ML's I have known about have been real phys monsters. Most lads have aspirations of ...

There is a piece on this actual AACC on page 373 of the latest G&L and has a little mention of Surg Lt Lara Herbert . Does not go into great detail about her though which is a shame, only that the galley staff had a bet on when she would be RTU'd.

Ah ok.. I don't think I know you but my little bro does. The best thing you can do is go across to wynstay and ask the owner for some advice. You probably know who he is and that he's ex - RM but I don't want to put his name up here. He was a colour sergeant I think and served during the first gulf ...
