I use a slight damp cloth, and very little polish! Each to their own, there's no right or wrong.

I had to work the weekend I got back from CPT! It was our flight's community project. Was so tired, and had to do all the kit prep for the day 47(?) inspection!

I use a jewellery cloth. Dampen it, wrap it round a finger, put a bit of kiwi black polish on it, then go round in small circles on my shoe. I just keep doing that over and over again over my shoe. With time they look the dogs b******s.

Hi rizza, it's Mike. I've posted an answer on TSR for you :) I agree about the lack of posting on here. I usually check it everyday and find no new posts!

Fighter Controller

Hi there, As you can see I'm fairly new on these forums, so please don't bite my head off! I'm currently serving in the RAF and as I have posted before I am hoping to go for my commision soon (start applying around April time). At the moment I'm not 100% sure what branch I want to go for. One of the...

Reading this has been a great help. I'm currently in the RAF as a airman, and I'm looking at going for my commision. Reading this has helped me in knowing what to expect and what I will need to prepare for. Thanks! :D

Well sorry but I see no point in applying for a job that will not be happy with. It's all very well the AFCO saying to apply for Officer, but if it is not what you truely want to do what is the point? If it is, then yes definately go for it, I wish I'd have applied for officer straight off, but that...

If I were you I'd go for whatever you think you'll be happy with. You want to be in a job which you're happy with and enjoy, don't let the AFCO push you towards anything you don;t want to do!

Thanks for the replies people. Very helpful. I've starting getting some information from OC TDF, and should be going to an information day soon, so I'll see how I get on!
