Don't quote me, but it's around about level 6 or 7 for female officers.

This is barely past jogging pace - i think even most ladies would agree with me on that one. However, the test is maximal for officer applicants, so she would be required for as long as she can - the higher the better.

Hi Alex !! Yeah, it was bloody hard work mate. i failed the course first time round and had to do it again, so that was nice, not! Got there in the end though. The course was mental - the standard of everything goes up about ten notches from Halton - all your kit has to be prepped in a different way...

Looks alright but make sure you up the amounts of reps you're doing and increase your distances for running as each week passes by or your fitness level won't improve at all. It takes a long time to get thru' the application process for WSOp - i know cos i've been there and done it, but if you're no...

I'm not saying run with it, just get used to carrying it. No matter how fit you are, if you ain't used to it, it will bother you. Why wait 'til he gets to Halton for that, when he can do it now ? I can tell you from personal experience that he will be doing a 1.5m run at Halton with weapon, bergen, ...

That regime should easily see you through Halton - trust me, i've been there. PT ain't really that difficult there - not compared to where i am now. Just spice it up a bit, try new things. Swimming would be a good choice as you do a fair bit of it at Halton, as well as the airman swimming test - 2 l...

Here's an excerpt from a thread i posted here http://thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=201047 detailing PT at Halton. PEd PEd at Halton isn't that bad, unless you are completely out of shape and haven't prepared yourself physically and mentally to push yourself (rather than be pushed) to your li...

Yes mate, our charity weekend will be a 'Superstar Gym Challenge' for the Stoke Mandeville Baby Care Unit, but it's not happening on the weekend, it's happening on the Tuesday after so we should get the weekend off, but we haven't got our hopes up as a few from our flight have been 'naughty' and the...

Oh right, so ours could a be colour parade as well ! The last outdoor parade had a Tucano also - darn cutbacks :) We had a few guys with the same problem with the sleeping bags being too short, but you know i'm a shortass so it wasn't a problem for me. Did you guys get helicoptered back to Halton, o...

The camp out was fine mate. Those sleeping bags are alright, aren't they ? I managed to draw the short straw and got the 2am shift for fire picket so it wasn't the best night's sleep :) Did 'Aggression Day' yesterday. Great opportunity to crawl around in mud and act like a kid again, ain't it ? ;) I...
