PGAC

Have ended up with a PGAC date of 6th NOV. Has been a nightmare trying to get the time off work so have ended up with this date. PLenty of time to do some extra training sessions though!

Is anyone else going on this date?

I suppose if you got to a point and they said WSOP was out of the question then you could still go and do something that interested you.

My first choice of millionaire was permantly unavailable, so sadly my second choice is now in progress :D

I think it's if a certain trade has a longer waiting list. For example if you said, 1st choice RAF Police :-? , 2nd Choice RAF Regt :) . They could say there is a 6 month wait for Police and then twist your arm into being a Gunner so you could be in quicker. Or you could genuinely have two chioces i...

Yer not sure why 12 secs.

Bearing in mind the 3 miles has to be run in 24 it seems strange that the mile 'n' half doesn't have to be done much much quicker.

What AFCO are you applying at Tyke?

Found this link for PGAC throught RAFCareers Website. Just click on "Open" when prompted. This might be a publication they give you when near PGAC but have never seen it before. :)

Passed AST (RAF Regt.Gunner)

Passed my Airmen Selection Test today. Have my interview on 30th March, so getting closer!! AST harder than I thought and I'm pretty sure the pass mark for the trade of Gunner must be fairly low because I'm sure I got a few wrong under the pressure of time restraints! Anyway will let you all know an...

RAF Regt. Airment Selection Test

Alrite lads, I have my Airmen Selection Test (Aptitude) this Friday (11 March). I was just wondering, could anyone tell me who has been to the aptitude test for Regt. Gunner, do the electrical and mechanical comprhension scores get taken into account? And what sort of marks are required to pass. Als...

Army taking over Rapier duty

A lot of people have recently been saying in these forums that the Army are taking over the GBAD role. Where have people heard this from as at my local AFCO the Cpl who I spoke to said that he hadn't heard anything about this change? :-?

PGAC Schedule

I read in an RAF handout I was given recently that on the PGAC, candidates undertake a confidence course.

Is this correct because I haven't heard any mention of it on this site so far?

If this is the case is the confidence course a pass/fail part of the PGAC or a judgement of character?
