Don't burn yourself out! You need days off! Depot will bring you up to speed, and for f@#k sake, don't start beasting yourself like some clowns on here are advising. You'll only get injured. Save the blood and guts shit till you get to depot! My advice on how to split your training wee...

Do whatever your heart tells you. I packed in my A levels half way through because I couldn't stand another single fu**ing day in school. I was desperate to get to Depot. The sensible choice is to finish your A Levels and then join up. But being the sensible choice doesn't mean it's right for you at...

Good insight.
As you say, just make sure you get that run time down quite a bit because it will need to be quicker. A couple of months of concentrating on your running and you should be fine.

You don't need to do a 10 mile tab before joining. The tabs start off short and not that difficult so just do some running and you'll be fine.

This type of shit really pisses me off. Why the f@#k do we constantly have to bail these fu**ers out of the shit? Our fu**ing health service is a joke, and we've got pensioners who've served in war for our country, struggling day by day to pay their bills! Lets get our own house in order before look...

1. First paragraph is correct. 2. One of the battalions was always on spearhead and ready to parachute into action within 24hrs if memory serves me correct. Not sure how it currently works. 3. The platoon sergeant and full screws run the platoon in reality. Most Platoon Commanders will leave them to...

Mix things up. In each week do one long run slow pace of at least 45-90mins, one interval/fartlek session of about 20-30mins, one steady run of about 30-40mins medium pace, and some strength work with maybe one easy 20min recovery run. Just a sample of what you could do really. Don't go balls to the...

I'd agree with everything said above. A bunker sounds good but would rarely get used. Arguments and debates are good fun and probably provide more interest in a topic and the Para Reg forum in general. But you've got to have some reasoning to back it up and not just f@#k the entire thread up with mi...
