Suppose if your near a gym you could use the rowing machines - very good for all round fitness. Other than that you are correct - more running!

Carb up! Eat pasta, rice, bananas, bread etc before training (about an hour before). Chocolate etc can also give you a quick boost but I use it to replenish lost energy after training. A beer (sounds stupid) after training can actually be quite benifical but don't over do it.

If you are really struggling on the day of the test, try this

10 then rest
9 then rest
8 then rest
7 then rest
6 then rest
5 then rest

and Voila, 45!

(heard that one of the London TACs was left with nobody but a few officers and their PSI).
I joined up mid telic. There was no-one in our TAC but the Joes and a reduced recruit training team. 30 Guys went from my platoon first time round and almost all the remaining went on Telic 3.

Will probably run into you at some point. I hear 2 PARA is badly undermanned, especially at the senior ranks. Circuit work being the reason supposedly.

Well the president of RCB suggested the independant and not the "torygraph" as he called it. I really don't have a clue myself.
