I failed it because I just couldn't do it and I knew I wasn't going to pass so half way through I stopped the treadmill.

And yeah, I'll get prepared for it now and do it again later on.

:o Well he didn't actually feel my bollocks properly, just quickly checked if it was all there.

My mate who's in the RAF said they did the same on his medical so I thought it was normal.

Alright mate, I took the test last week. I'm not particularly fit but I managed to run the 1.5 miles in 9:15. I had to do it within 12:48 (being an old geezer) even still it wasn't that hard. yeah but you still get to travel when on Submarines, just not as quick.

Also when you do port at another country you get put up in a hotel and get spending money (which means good nights out!).
