Born in Birmingham in the mid 1950's. Steve joined the army at 17 and served 9 years during the "troubles". He has worked iin South America and Europe as a security contractor for finance and media companies. Having lived on his own narrow boat for over 5 years. Steve brings to his Boyd Aimes stories, his own personal experience in the characters, and by using real places and locations he brings Boyd Aimes closer to the reader.
